To attain visitor traffic to your website you must understand how traffic flows throughout the internet. This understanding stems from the basic algorithm of the Internet and the goals of it’s original creators.
You’ve just opened your credit card bill and attached to your statement you find a “convenience check” included. It may already be filled out with a dollar amount such as $300, $500, or even $1,000. Your mind fills with ideas of what you could buy with this “instant” money. A new summer wardrobe, a nice dinner and tickets to a concert, a weekend getaway.
Selling your services to corporations is an attractive proposition. The contracts are larger than with small businesses and individuals, and often longer-term. There’s the possibility of repeat business worth many billable hours at respectable rates.
The counter offer is a vital part in the negotiating process of purchasing real estate. It can often determine if you get a good deal or a less favorable one. Ironically, most people (including most real estate professionals) never really have or use a strategy that makes counter offers work in their favor.
It’s almost too good to be true.
What does it all mean?
RAID 0, Duplexing, Mirroring, Striping with parity, ECC, the terminology bog goes on for what seems to be forever. Do you need to know what all of these mean? If you’re considering a RAID array for your network, the first step is understanding the different terms before you even think about making a purchase.

Most marketers don’t give a lot of thought to the buying processes of their customers. That’s a shame. Lending due attention to the buying process can have a dramatic effect on your sales.

Packet filtering is something I’ve always hard a hard time getting my head around. Not the basics; that’s easy
enough. It’s just the incredible level of detail, the difficulty of keeping it all in your head at once.
And then, of course, there are all the different flavors: ipfw, ipfilters, ipchains, and now iptables. It gets more
than a little confusing, and I’ve never taken the time for more than a cursory look at any of them.
