People often turn to the Internet for information about illnesses and treatments. Many put off going to the doctor as long as possible just because they don’t find it enjoyable. Many others simply can’t afford to go to the doctor because of a lack of health insurance or plans that still end up costing them too much in co-pays anyway.
Online Advertising’s Relationship with Holiday Traffic
Nielsen Online has shared some interesting data regarding advertising on the web during the holiday season. This look comes after finding that there was 10% growth in retail site traffic. Report: High Point Passed For Some Holiday eCommerce Traffic

This election process has been a boon for news sites and the equivalent of a ‘millstone around the neck’ for people like me. How much more can one say or do or think or accuse or lie or point fingers about at this point?
U.S. Getting Dominated in Internet Traffic
Last week, U.S. cable provider and ISP Comcast put a cap on monthly broadband use, and now there are reports surfacing that the U.S. in general is falling behind when it comes to Internet traffic. This is not a direct result of the Comcast situation, but with Comcast being the 2nd largest ISP in the country, it’s certainly not going to help.
China Produced More Web Traffic For Olympics Than The US
Daily online traffic on the web site of China’s largest broadcaster surpassed that of the leading U.S. broadcaster and online channel during the Olympics, according to WebTrends Analytics.
