Advertisers, Consumers Have Mixed Feelings About Twitter
When it comes to Twitter just under half of advertisers (45%) say it is in its infancy and its use will grow rapidly over the next few years, while 21 percent believe it will not move into the mainstream and is something mostly young people and the media will use, according to new LinkedIn Research Network/Harris Poll.
Google Answers Privacy Questions Over Google Books
Google signed a settlement agreement with authors and publishers last year over Google Books. Google says that if it is approved by the court, it will unlock access to millions of books for anyone in the United States.

Disney Plans To Charge For Online Content
Walt Disney Chief Executive Robert Iger says the company has plans to offer a variety of its content, including movies, TV shows and games online for a fee.
"The notion of going online at some point as a subscribe-to, robust entertainment experience is pretty attractive to us," Iger said. "We are developing such an experience."
Iger made the comments Wednesday at Fortune magazine’s Brainstorm: Tech conference.
Using Google’s Conversion Optimizer
Google announced that Conversion Optimizer is now available for more campaigns. Now any campaign with at least 15 conversions in the last 30 days will be able to use it. Conversions can be tracked through AdWords Conversion Tracking or as linked Google Analytics Goals.
Google Improves Maps for Mobile
Google is adding a good deal of the functionality from Google maps to Google Maps for Mobile. This includes the ability to access and interact with different layers like Traffic, My Maps, and Search layers at the same time.

More than half (56%) of Americans have accessed the Internet using wireless mobile devices such as smartphones and laptops, according to a new report from the Pew Internet & American Life Project.
The most popular way people go online via wireless is with a laptop as 39 percent of Internet users have done this.
