Report: Google Backing Another Undersea Cable Project
Something called the Southeast Asia Japan Cable (SJC) is coming into being, and Google’s one of several companies that’s behind it, according to a new report. The new undersea fiber optic project should tie into another Google-related cable, the transpacific Unity.

Mobile Phone Film Project Open To All Women
A new film project called "Overheated Symphony" is asking all women with mobile phones to make a short movie between 40 seconds and four minutes in length and then send it over the Internet to a London-based film director who will edit the clips together.
