New Twitter Book Written from the User’s Perspective

There is a new Twitter book out called All a Twitter. It was written by Tee Morris, author of Podcasting for Dummies. It comes with a foreword by social media guru Chris Brogan and a dedication to Jon Stewart of the Daily Show.

"Social Media has the potential of increasing your presence, both from a commercial and from a personal perspective, on the global stage," says Morris. "With All a Twitter, I bring several years of tweets and observations on Twitter’s growth, evolution, and reinvention."

Putting Twitter into Perspective

Brett Tabke was among the speakers on the ‘Mega Panel’ at SMX Advanced this year. This session essentially consists of a panel of established industry experts fielding questions from the crowd of conference attendees. It never takes long in these type of sessions to get a feel for what’s on everybody’s mind. This year, to the surprise of exactly no one, it was all things social media and Twitter that dominating the Q & A.

Look at Things From a Customer’s Perspective

As an internet retailer, I have had to learn the hard way that our customers do not necessarily see our sites the way we see them. In fact, when we conduct usability studies, I am often shocked to find that what is very obvious to me escapes them completely. Does that make them stupid? Of course not. Their perspective is just different. In their eyes, the retailer is the one that is stupid.
