Why Are You Doing Everything Yourself?

When I coach my entrepreneur clients, one problem I often see is that they’re not taking enough time to market and grow their business. It’s not that they don’t understand the value of those efforts, or they don’t want to make the time. It’s that they’re simply trying to do too much by themselves. They’re so busy running their business that they’re not working ON their business.

Context Is Everything

We’re working on a media kit and collateral material for an internet company looking to boost its advertising substantially. The company has done extremely well for advertisers (mostly dr advertisers) on a cost per click basis. One reason for its success is that the user/consumer chooses this navigation tool – it isn’t embedded in some other software – and it isn’t spyware.

Timing is Everything–When to Write and Distribute a Press Release

When things are timed perfectly, the results are inevitably better. Whether it’s a first kiss or a punch line, saying “I love you,” or saying, “Do we have deal?” Press releases must be well timed. Sending out an untimely press release is often a waste of time that elicits few, if any, results.

has its own lingo. Here are a few of the buzzwords you may hear
in the coming months. All of them have the “geo” prefix, derived
from the word “geography” or “earth”. There’s very little written
on this subject, so please be aware that these definitions are
my OWN interpretations of various articles and resources.

In Business, Image Isn’t Everything; It’s the Only Thing!

We have all heard this lament, but how much do we practice it. With all the relaxed rules today, do we really present ourselves in the best light. It seems all the articles I see today are about how old fashioned today’s workers find their supervisors or bosses to be in the way they dress, the policies they implement and the old fashioned ways in which they conduct their business.

Internet Marketing: I don’t know everything – neither do you!

Internet marketing is confusing, isn’t it? It needn’t be. Over the years I’ve learned to recognise a few names – a few gurus – and I now subscribe to some great newsletters. You can do this too! Find a guru you trust, or simply subscribe to a few marketing-related newsletters; listen, and learn. And ignore the rest… for now!
