We all have people whom we find difficult. We don’t understand them, connect with them, or even talk comfortably with them. But, when we own a one person business, seeing someone as difficult gets in the way of our selling effectively and their buying wisely.
Five minutes into the call I knew this client was going to make my life miserable. The problem was, I already said “Yes.”
Customers are very savvy and have ready access to information. They now are more aware of their rights and are willing to demand excellence. In this context, we should take a positive view of our difficult and demanding customers and learn from them.
