On the Internet, it’s ‘easy come, easy go’.
Opportunities are everywhere you care to look online. Tempting promises of easy riches and instant millionaires stare us in the face. People fall for the hype, discover that it’s much more work than they’d thought, and dump the ‘business’.
My Internet business is turning five! This is a significant anniversary for me. Statistics tell us that many small businesses go under within the first five years.
Frankly, I never thought I’d make it this far. I had too many strikes against me, or so I thought.
To make a long story short, I started my Internet business with no business background or experience, no cash, and hindered by poor eyesight that makes it difficult to stare at a monitor for extended periods.
A lot of time when we think about wired businesses, we think about Web sites and all the things you can do from a Web site. However, the real hero in online business may not be the Web at all, but might just be plain old email.
The Internet is growing by leaps and bounds. With that being true Internet business competition is getting stiff. You need to promote, promote, promote.
