As Time Runs Out, MySpace Starts Counting Pennies

You’ve got a hundred million registered website visitors. Now what? Some say focus on growth and retention. Another might say the next step is to try and sell them things. Perhaps a third voice says both. MySpace CEO Chris DeWolfe is looking for the fast track to MySpace money—his job’s on the line this year—or at least to where he last saw a few hundred million bucks laying around. 

Digg Crowd Starts Seeing Itchy Trigger Finger Warnings

Recently, very active Digg.com users digging at a fairly rapid pace have been met with an error message advising them to slow down and actually read the story they’re digging.

An image of the message was dugg up to the front page. It reads:

“Whoa there cowboy! Itchy trigger finger? Digging so fast is lame. How about reading some stories instead?”

eHarmony Settles Lawsuit, Starts Gay Site

eHarmony is releasing a new same-sex matching service starting by the end of March. This service is the product of legal problems the company has been dealing with out of New Jersey and California. A gay man in Jersey sued the company for not catering to same-sex relationships as a violation of his rights in the state of New Jersey, and earlier in the year, a gay woman from San Francisco filed a suit against the company for being denied access to eHarmony’s service because of her sexuality.
