A new service from Yahoo has been aimed at sports fans with televisions hooked to their computers. It’s called Yahoo Sports for TV.

Sports search engine Enth has partnered with sports information provider Stats to add data to their search engine.
The deal will provide Enth with real-time data during the Major League Baseball and National Football League seasons.
GoFish Adds Extreme Sports Videos
GoFish, an online video company has announced the licensing of sports-related videos from Adrenalina and Movie Made Productions. The agreement will give the GoFish community access to a variety of extreme sports videos.
Currently GoFish has almost 9 million monthly unique users and the agreement with Adrenalina’s and Movie Made Productions will add hundreds of new shows to their network that will focus on sports and lifestyle programming.
CBS Buys Online Sports Network
The CBS Corporation has purchased the online high school sports network MaxPreps. The company will become part of CBS owned CSTV (College Sports Television). The site focuses on stats, stories, photos and videos of athletes and coaches. Brian Bedol, President and CEO of CSTV Networks made the announcement.
EA Mobile Offers Sports Link
EA Sports has launched EA Sports Link, which extends their online sports fan community to mobile phones. Sports fans will be able to learn about EA Sports games as well as read the latest gaming and sports news. The service is currently available on the Cingular Wireless network but the company has plans to branch out to other carriers in the coming months.
Sports Illustrated Gets Social
Time Inc.’s Sports Illustrated Group has signed an agreement to purchase sports oriented Web site FanNation.com from Sports Technologies, Inc. The site aggregates sports information and allows users to generate content.
