Searchers Ready for Football, Sunny, and Office

In a way, today is a big day for Hulu. The popular video site will soon likely attract a huge number of views based on two shows that return to television this evening – NBC’s The Office and FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. These two have been huge hits for Hulu in the past, and that will likely continue as the two programs begin pushing out new episodes.

Facebook Hit With Malicious App, Searchers Duped

As far as malware tricks go, this one is pretty diabolical. Over the weekend, Facebook users started receiving messages saying friends had tried to view their profile but were unable to do so. The message prompts the user to install a third party app, oddly titled “Error Check System.”

The actual text of the message reads: “[Name] has faced some errors when checking your profile View The Errors Message.”

Searchers Pick Gokey, Grace As American Idol Finalists

It’s that time of year again when we watch a band of histrionic hopefuls vie for America’s new sweetheart on American Idol. If search behavior is any indication (and it often is, except when involving political candidates), we’ll see Danny Gokey, Alexis Grace, and either Ricky Braddy, Tatiana Del Toro, or Ann Marie Boskovitch slide through to the final twelve.

You see, as a man, not to be chauvinist, or sexist, or to not allow for exceptions to the rule, my interest in knitting is about as intense as my interest in, say, what shoes somebody’s wearing (unless they’re those killer liquor compartment sandals). So imagine my surprise when I found out knitting is all the rage these days, and the people they be a-searchin’ for information about it.
