Get High Quality Traffic by Writing Articles

One of the best ways to promote your website is by writing articles that you can post in e-zines, and sites that provide free content to e-zine publishers. This will help you develop credibility and, with time, build a solid customer base. There are a few things to take into account to maximize the effectiveness of this sometimes overlooked marketing technique:

Quality Process Overhead – Myth or Reality?

Let us take a real-life example.

The AC in a car is an overhead. It eats into the petrol that is used to run the car. However the benefits and pleasure that the owner of the car derives from the AC far outweighs the additional expenditure in his perspective. His wife may still scold him that AC need not be switched on in the car during the evenings

. Thus an overhead is mostly a matter of perception.

Getting Quality Visitors to Your Web Site

When I had uploaded my first page at www.tripod.com, I used to log on tens of times in a day to check the number of hits on my site. Even an increase of one unit used to increase the speed of blood in my veins.

But, no matter how hard I tried I never got listed in the search engines. It was a collection of my short stories. In two months, I just got a few hits from my sister, my cousins and a few of my friends.

Content Quality and Link Popularity

I ranked high in the search engines with Altavista and msn there for a while but I lost my ranking due to my change of real estate practice location. Right now, I am trying to target Dallas Real Estate instead of Plano Real estate, Dallas Homes, instead of Plano homes. Allthough I ranked high with Altavista, I am nowhere to be seen on Google.com, and that’s where I really want to be! Can you tell me how DallasRelo.com, ranks #1 in Google.com for the search term “Dallas Real Estate” when the quality of information provided is horrible in comparison with mine? Also, if his website is recommended more by other websites, is there a better way to get ranked?
