Tool Launched for Audio Status Update Creation

Oddcast has released an interesting new audio status-updating tool for publishing your voice to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc. You may recognize the company from its SitePal service, which provides animated characters for websites.

The new tool called AudioPal lets users create 60-second personal voice messages that can be posted to their personal web pages, blogs, and social networks.

Facebook App Directory Overhaul Launched

Update: Facebook launched the App Directory, App Verification Program, and ne App Profile Pages today.

Original Article: In the coming weeks, Facebook will formally launch its App Verification program, a new Application Directory, and new App Profile Pages, a spokesperson for Facebook tells Murdok. Each of these will allow users to more easily discover and interact with the applications that are most relevant and valuable to them, they say.

Google Latitude Badge Launched for Blogger

Google has released the Public Location Badge, which allows users to publish geographic information to their blog automatically whenever they go somewhere. The badge is powered by Google Latitude.

If you’re unfamiliar with Google Latitude, it is a feature of Google Maps that when enabled, shows your friends your current location wherever you are if you have given it permission to do so.

New Version of Google Analytics Launched

Google today is launching a much-improved interface for Google Analytics, according to Andy Beal. Andy has screenshots of the new interface (which I cannot access as of this writing), which has much bolder graphics to enable clearer to understand graphs, email reports, customizable dashboards so you get the data you want, and plainer language used to describe part of the interface.
