Google has partnered with self-service video creation company SpotMixer to offer small and medium sized businesses a chance to win $25,000 worth of free national TV advertising for the "TV for All" video contest on YouTube.
The TV for All contest launches today and runs through October 5. Winners will be announced on October 30. The contest is open to any business with 300 or fewer employees.
Samsung Set To Launch App Store
Samsung Electronics announced today it will launch a new app store for its smartphone users on September 14.
The app store will open in the U.K., France and Italy, with more than 30 countries including Germany and Spain to follow. Initially the store will be focused on users of Omnia and I8910 HD devices and later expand to other models.
Users will be able to browse a variety of applications including games, references, social networking, e-books and health related tools.
Yahoo to Launch Arabic Versions of its Properties
Yahoo has announced its intent to acquire Maktoob.com, an Arab portal that reaches one in every three people online in its region. That accounts for about 16.5 million people. Yahoo says this is its largest geographic expansion in years.

Update: ExecTweets is not the only thing Twitter is advertising. You can also see other ads for things like TwitterVision, Tweetie, etc. in the little box that previously only advertised Twitter services. Everything still looks to be at least Twitter-related at this point. And from the sound of it, they’re not making a money off of it.
