Gmail Tasks Lab Gets New Useful Features
Back in December, Google introduced a new feature in Gmail Labs called "Tasks" that provides Gmail users with a window to keep track of their…tasks (go figure). Today, they have announced a couple new features for Tasks.
Users can now easily move a task (along with its sub-tasks) to another list by clicking on the arrow (or using Shift-Enter) to the right of the task, then selecting another list in the drop down at the bottom of the screen.
Hotmail Rolls Out New Features
Microsoft’s Windows Live Hotmail or just Hotmail to most, has seen a number of improvements in recent memory. Most notably it got an updated look, and they made everything faster.

Google Toolbar Gets New Features
Today Google announced a couple new features for the Google Toolbar in Firefox. The first one is the addition of a "new tab page." This feature allows you to open different pages when you open a new tab, so you don’t just get the standard blank white page. Now you can bring up one of your favorite pages or one that you recently viewed. You can choose from up to 9 different thumbnails you have stored as well as recent bookmarks and recently closed tabs:

Close to half (45%) of U.S. mobile phone users prefer to use their mobile phones to make calls, and not for other multimedia features, according to a new report by the NPD Group.Only 20 percent of mobile phone users prefer to use their phones as an all-in-one multimedia device for music, videos, Web surfing and other activities beyond making phone calls.
Hulu Adds HD Embed and Queue Rearrangement Features
Today was "New Feature Tuesday" again for Hulu as part of the site’s Hulu for the Holidays run, an initiative that sees Hulu adding TV shows on Mondays, new features on Tuesdays, and new movies on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Hulu Adds More User Experience Enhancing Features
Hulu introduced a couple of new features today to enhance the user experience. This comes only a week or so after the site launched other features to improve its search functionality. The first new feature is a recommendation section for users with accounts. To get Hulu’s personalized recommendations, simply login and go to your profile page and you will find a new tab for this area.
