At the first of the year, I wondered if 2007 or 2008 would be the year of the online game.
2007 is nearly gone, and not a peep out of anybody except the Casual Games Association, which says 150 million people play free, casual games online, outpacing game consoles, first-person shooter games, and massively multiplayer games.
The world is full of scanners. Most people simply scan the page to see if anything piques their interest, rather than reading the ads, sales letters, or web copy.
You got the interview for the job you wanted. It was in your field, you met all the requirements of education and experience, you rehearsed the answers to every conceivable question, you arrived on time, you were calm and collected, but you didn’t get the position.
What else can you do? You’ve carefully selected or created a product to sell online that is in high demand.
