LinkedIn is available in the English, Spanish, French, and German languages, although users can post their profiles in over 40 different languages. The company would like to offer its services in more languages though, and is calling upon its user bases to help it out with that.
Buttons Being Used To Verify Certain Twitter Accounts
In the wake of the run-in with St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa last week Twitter has officially launched its verified accounts beta. The service was mentioned over the weekend in Biz Stone’s blog post that made it known that Twitter would bow to no one on legal concerns that they viewed as frivolous.
Facebook Links User Accounts with Gmail
Yesterday, Facebook went live as an OpenID relying party. This makes Facebook the largest one to date.
"This is the first iteration of the implementation," a Facebook spokesperson tells Murdok. "To start, new users can now register for Facebook with their Gmail accounts, and existing users can link their Facebook accounts with any OpenID provider to connect with friends and eliminate the need for multiple sign-ins."
Google Links AdSense Accounts with Google Analytics
Google is now offering wide availability of Google Analytics and AdSense integration. AdSense publishers who wish to make their site more profitable are going to want to link their AdSense accounts with a Google Analytics account.
To do so, you simply need to log in to AdSense, click the link that says "Integrate your AdSense account with Google Analytics" on the Reports > Overview tab, and follow the on-screen instructions as illustrated in this clip:
Buying and Selling Twitter Accounts?
CNN has acquired "the services" of the creator of one of the most popular accounts on Twitter, which is "cnnbrk," an account that posts CNN breaking news. Currently, the account has just under a million followers.
Jason Kincaid at TechCrunch spoke with James Cox, the account holder and has confirmation from CNN that the account is now in their possession. But it’s not like they just bought "the account"…
