U2 Puts New Song On Facebook

U2 may or may not support Facebook more than MySpace, Bebo, and all the other social networks out there.  But it apparently has ties to the creators of a Facebook app called iLike, and the famous band has, in any event, made a previously unreleased song available on Mark Zuckerberg’s site.

Congress Leaves Out Telco Immunity (For Now)

There may be hope yet for the idea that our government actually works for us. Two bills, one in the House, and one in the Senate Judiciary Committee, passed without giving blanket retroactive immunity to telephone companies that willingly aided the Bush Administration in illegally spying on the American people.

U.S. Video Game Sales Hit $1.1 Billion

Market research firm NPD is reporting that U.S. sales of video game hardware and software increased 73 percent in October. Total sales reached $1.1 billion, compared with $643 million a year earlier.
