Google Offers Tools To Fight Child Pornography

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is using technology developed by Google to fight online child pornography.The video fingerprinting technology provided by Google will allow analysts at NCMEC to conduct faster searches of video and images in its database to flag files with child pornography. Other tools will allow analysts to quickly review video clips.

Newspaper Web Sites Attract Record Number Of Visitors

Newspaper Web sites received more than 66.4 million unique visitors on average (40.7 percent of all Internet users) in the first quarter of 2008, a record number that is a 12.3 percent increase over the same period a year ago, according to an analysis from Nielsen Online for the Newspaper Association of America (NAA).
