Arkansas Paper Upset Over Walmart.com Classifieds
Wal-Mart recently partnered with classified Web site Oodle.com to launch free classified ads on Walmart.com and is already creating a controversy.When users in Arkansas clicked on some of the classified ads on Walmart.com they were led to classifieds from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette newspaper. Paul R. Smith, president of WEHCO Newspapers, Inc., the company that publishes the Democrat-Gazette, said Wal-Mart and Oodle do not have permission to use the ads.

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is now on Google Earth in 3D allowing users to virtually tour Disney’s four theme parks and its 22 hotels and resorts.There are 1,500 3D points of interest in the virtual tour of Disney. Users can click on images to get more information about an attraction, purchase tickets, make reservations and map out their vacation.

Google’s dominance in search leads to a dominance in coverage, but the drama surrounding Yahoo lately has thrust the number two ecommerce engine back into the public consciousness. California To Launch Online Drug Database
California Attorney General Jerry Brown has introduced a plan to create an online prescription drug database so that doctors and pharmacies can reduce prescription drug abuse."Every year thousands of doctors try to check their patient’s prescription history information but California’s current database is difficult to access," Brown said."If California puts this information online, with real-time access, it will give authorized doctors and pharmacies the technology they need to fight prescription drug abuse which is burdening our healthcare system."
