EU Aims For Broadband Access For All Europeans

The European Telecoms Commissioner Viviane Reding said today that all people in the European Union should have broadband access."High-speed Internet is the passport to the Information Society and an essential condition for economic growth. This is why it is this Commission’s policy to make broadband Internet for all Europeans happen by 2010", said EU Telecoms Commissioner Viviane Reding.

Americans Anxious Over Online Privacy

The majority of Americans are concerned about what is being done with their personal information online according to a new poll from Consumer Reports.The poll found that 82 percent of people are concerned about their credit card numbers being stolen online, while 72 percent are concerned that their online activity is being tracked and profiled by companies.

Google Helps Presenters Prioritize Questions

Google has released a tool (in beta of course) called Google Moderator to help you prioritize questions for Q&A sessions. It’s hosted by the Google App Engine and lets users submit questions directed toward certain people. Then others can vote on the question’s worth.
