Digg – Future or Feature?
No matter how you slice it, getting to a million registered users is a pretty impressive achievement for Digg, a service that Kevin Rose and Jay Adelson and a couple of others started as a lark after TechTV shut down and Kevin was looking for something to do. It may be true that the million number has a lot of holes in it, as some of the commenters over at TechCrunch have pointed out — multiple accounts, etc. — but still impressive nonetheless.
Yahoo Answers Launches New Social Network

Occasionally, especially if I visit The Register early morning in Europe, I can pick up some interesting fresh stories that are fairly exclusive, or have some different angles.
Mobile Ads Capture Consumers Attention
The Online Publishers Association has released a study," Going Mobile: An International Study of Content Use and Advertising on the Mobile Web" finds that the mobile platform is becoming an effective source for content and marketing because of strong growth and consumers paying more attention to advertising.
The study found that 76 percent of all consumers in the US and Western Europe have access to the Web on their mobile device, and one third (32%) use it. When it comes to usage the UK leads with 54 percent followed by the US and Italy both coming in at 41 percent.
Vonage Awaiting Last Rites From Verizon Jury
A verdict is expected by tomorrow as to whether or not Vonage owes Verizon nearly $200 million in patent infringement penance, and almost $5 per customer in royalties. If so, Verizon blasts a very large hole in an already sinking ship.
