Google has reportedly worked out another deal for its TV Ads unit. According to AdWeek, Google now counts Ovation TV, the arts cable channel among its TV Ads partners.

comScore Media Metrix released its top 50 web properties list for August this week, and found that educational sites and humor sites were quite popular for the month. Home sites also saw some significant gains.
Facebook Movie Cast Announced
Following months of bloggers’ casting suggestions and seemingly unfounded rumors, it’s been announced who will star in the upcoming Facebook movie. Jesse Eisenberg will play Mark Zuckerberg, and lead roles have also gone to Justin Timberlake and Andrew Garfield.

The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) and the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) have conducted yet another social media-related survey, finding that company policies have not yet caught up with the incredible growth in social media use among employees. The survey looked at what management is doing to manage employee social media use.
Amazon Announces Winner Of TV Ad Contest
Amazon.com has announced the winner of its "Your Amazon Ad Contest" its first national competition for the best customer-created television commercial.
Angela Kohler, of Los Angles, was voted the winner by the company as well as Amazon customers. Kohler will receive $20,000 in Amazon gift cards along with a trip for two to the 15th Annual Gen Art Film Festival in New York City next April where her commercial will be screened.
Pee Wee Herman is Back…in Twitter Form
Pee Wee Herman, the alternate identity of actor Paul Reubens, made famous in the 80s from a couple of TV shows and movies (namely Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, Tim Burton’s greatest acheivement in my opinion), is back. You probably know the story. He was busted for exposing himself in a theater and Pee Wee Herman pretty much fell off the face of the planet, although Reubens has popped up from time to time.
