Owning an online business and publishing an ezine can be very frustrating, AND rewarding! There can be 100’s or even 1000’s of websites and/or ezines that are almost exactly like yours. What can you do to make your online business stand out from the rest?
The energy of money can be quite a comedian sometimes, especially if you *see* it from the energy/spirit of money, and not the clutching fear and limitation that we humans choose to clothe it with. (I’ve been there, so I do know the difference.)
Very few designers will disagree that designing in Flash, especially concerning layout, is very fluid and user friendly. Your early ventures into designing in Flash often leave you wondering, “ Just why do I have to click so much to simply select an object and the stroke around it?” and “Why does dragging to select something make cuts into one object or another?” There are quite a few things in Flash that will catch a seasoned designer off guard. Understandably, ease of use does come with time and practice, but there’s a shortcut.
A reverse affirmation is a positive statement that you tell your readers to tell themselves. You would write it in present tense like they’ve already solved their problem or completed their goal.
The economic climate of the past year killed businesses without sound tactics, which is why I decided to interview Scott Dorsey of ExactTarget, who has not only started up successfully with 30 employees, but won venture capital and gained 600 customers in the past 12 months. Their flagship product “enables anyone with basic computer skills to easily create, deliver, and track email marketing campaigns.”
Like many people, I first started online by promoting affiliate programs. I didn’t have a product of my own, and affiliate programs seemed like the ideal way to earn an income. Why bother with the hassles of creating my own product if I didn’t have to?
These 3 simple marketing strategies work for any business. You can implement them quickly and produce immediate results. They won’t cost you much money. And the sales growth they generate continues as long as you continue using them.
Curiosity. Intrigue. Mystery. All strong components that grab readers of your headlines by the ear a quite literally drag them into the rest of your copy.
