SCOPE iT announced that Brad Scott has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development.
Scott is a sales and channel management professional with 25 years’ experience in the information technology industry, where he has accumulated an outstanding sales and business development record in both U.S. and international markets.
“We’re excited to welcome Brad to our management team and privileged to be working with someone with such a broad range of knowledge and expertise,” said SCOPE iT founder and CEO Henk Keukenkamp.
“Throughout his career, Brad has successfully launched major new product initiatives, developed and grown channel partner organizations, and managed country operations for major international technology companies, as well as start-ups,” Keukenkamp said.
Scott’s experience includes senior management positions with a number of global IT companies: NetManage, a leading software integration solution provider; Tarantella, an innovative supplier of secure remote access solutions; SCO, the market’s leading UNIX operating system supplier; and Sun Microsystems.
“As the only offering in Gartner’s ‘deliverable-based’ cost-estimation product category, SCOPE iT has an unprecedented opportunity to capitalize on the market’s need for a comprehensive project cost estimation solution,” said Scott. “With $55 billion wasted last year in failed and challenged IT projects in the U.S., alone, it’s obvious that SCOPE iT can make a significant impact on the success of IT departments. I’m very excited to be joining SCOPE iT at this important stage of its evolution.”
