Eliminate Extra Steps and Get the Sale

In case you haven’t heard of a company called Volusion, they have offered eCommerce software, website design services and advanced online solutions for both large and small businesses since 1999.

This Austin Texas-based company has recently launched a new feature called “One-Page Checkout” to its existing eCommerce solution, which has been received well by critics.

One-Page Checkout eliminates the need for multiple steps and required registration, so you are more likely to get the sale from the lazy man. You know, those people that almost buy something, but they just don’t want to go through the trouble of entering so much information.

Volusion says that the new additions to its “Volusion eCommerce Software, Version 4” will not only increase user-friendliness, but will also work to significantly reduce cart abandonment rates. Sound familiar?

This is (as the company notes) an issue that has plagued eCommerce providers for years, and is one of the most commonly reported obstacles facing eCommerce websites today.

With One-Page Checkout, customers don’t even have to create an account to make a purchase (although they can still create one if they wish, and potentially get more benefits).

As Volusion says in their press release, if you’ve ever shopped at a supermarket, you’ve probably made it a point to find the shortest checkout line.
