Yahoo slow in indexing websites?

I have a website just 4-5 months and it is performing well so far with Google and Bing. However, looks like yahoo won't even listen to it. I can see some back links indexed by yahoo and it successfully crawled my website. But knowing fully well when bing and google are adhering my content, why yahoo wont?

any suggestions to make yahoo aware of my site and worthy enough to be included within organic search results?

Try submitting your site or your site feeds to Yahoo.com by creating a yahoo account on https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ and then track your site

It's really hard to please yahoo. I'm experiencing that too. Most of my rankings are already ranking in Google and Bing but not in yahoo.

I updated the template on one of my websites about a month ago and yahoo's cache is still showing the old version of the template with the new product data. Looks weird, fortunately the website is still ranking well. They do seem to get new products in there fairly quickly for me though

Yahoo! has always been sluggish indexing sites. Try setting up some type of account within the Yahoo network such as site explorer in your effort to improve visibility. Otherwise, bookmarking or even creating a profile page within Yahoo sections will work.

No doubt, Yahoo is slow while indexing a website... the following steps may helpful.

• Keywords rich internal site pages name or files.
• Define properly keywords based title of each page.
• On Page Optimziation
• submit sitemap.xml to Yahoo
• Build maximum inbound links with 100% relevancy.

Yahoo is definitely SLOW in indexing of a website. Google and BING are really fast.
Just stick to the basics of SEO and follow all those that can be helpful to Yahoo listing such as Yahoo answers, Yahoo Directory etc.

Yahoo is not slow indexing sites. But their algorithm is different from google's. Maybe your SEO did not please both google and yahoo.

I find Yahoo to be slow at re-crawling a page once it's indexed. It seems like it takes forever for it to get re-crawled and indexed again by them. Does anyone else experience this?

Try using Yahoo Answers with the proper links to your site. It does help a little for my sites.

Yes i also note that yahoo index the back links very slow.
