site not ranking in yahoo

My website is number 2 in google for Tenerife Accommodation but not in yahoo's top 100, same goes for other keywords - when i search for my business name i appear no1 in yahoo.

do i need to re submit or what? i've read up on guidelines and seem to be doing everything right, wtf?

In this economy I was concerned that it would be difficult to find a job in my field. Many websites promised to have a large database of employers but rarely delivered. When I found Employment Crossing I was given direct access to employers rather than having to go through a recruiter.

From what I have noticed with yahoo is that it runs a ways behind google if you have already reached the second position then just give it some time. Also consider anchoring your keywords within the text of hyperlinks.

Do social bookmarking by using your keyword as a title.yahoo is not following dofollow concept so you need to do bookmarking in any high pr sites.

Keep building back links to your site. It would definitely help.

I am experiencing the same. Very frustrated. I don't know what I did wrong. But yahoo just desen't show me some love. I don't think re-submitting would help and would like to hear some suggestions here too.

Remember yahoo and google are two different search engine that's why they have different algo. Google prioritize on links while yahoo on content.

As said, Google and Yahoo have different approach. You need to make sure that the site has good content. It is the first work after you design your website. Then comes the link building. It is believed that Google gives the highest preference to link building campaign.

Yahoo has been bittersweet to me as well. Yahoo seems to take longer to index pages, and doesn't index as many pages as Google does, but it does seem to give more credit for backlinks and seems to be a bit easier to rank in for keywords once you are indexed - thats my 2 cents anyway.
