No one can tell the exact value of backlinks in yahoo to rank your site.

I don't have any numbers to back the claim of most web masters that Yahoo is not so much into off-page optimization wherein link building belongs. It is, however, noticed that Yahoo goes for on-page optimization, which means you have to make your content keyword-enriched and all tags in tact.

Search engines don't give 100% of the result when it comes of the real total figure of your backlinks. Just stick to your actual backlinks and continue link building.

I notice Yahoo shows up my no-follow backlinks.. for what I know, no-follow do not carry any value, why it keep showing me those links ?

Google Algorithm tells that if your sites get good number of backlinks which is very trust worthy domain (Depends on Domain AGE.) and also depends on Link Age factor like since how much times you got the backlinks from trustworthy domain.

so obviously yahoo backlinks boost your SERPS.
but remember that Google didn't consider Paid links in their SERPS.

i agree that yahoo consider on-page seo more than off-page seo. so if you want to get good position on yahoo. you should do more work for you on-page seo.

i think yahoo is not considering backlinks as it is not following dofollow and nofollow concept.so no one no perfectly and no can answer surely for your question.

Does on page seo means contents of webpage itself...So, every single words must be include keywords in order to get consideration from Yahoo to rank up webpage..

Nope but you should keep generating them anyway. Yahoo is a baby compared to Google. I hardly care what Yahoo thinks anymore. Google sends 10,000 visits my way an Yahoo in comparrision about 100. It's sad but true.

I have noticed yahoo put's much less of their serps ranking on backlinks. For instance the keywords that I am trying to gain first page on the number one spot has 0 external links. I found it quite interesting since I am coming up on 5k now google on the other hand places much more importance on backlinks which I have noticed from my increase in SERPs position.

I don't know if I have the problem in Yahoo..or the Yahoo has a problem.
I'm doing the link building properly.. but still after 4 months there is no
backlinks in Yahoo.
