Default No1. Position in Yahoo disappeared.

Hi Guys,

I am looking for some possibilities as to why our position for the search term "orlando villas for rent" disappeared without trace from the #1 position on Yahoo. This had the search results with the "www" before the domain name. Then for some reason the "www" is missing and just the domain name is showing in the search results. This result is lower than the original only by a few places though.

See graph below.

As you can see the term Orlando Villas has also taken a dive. It is hard to understand how this can have happened when we can't think of anything that has changed.

Problem is that while you may not have perceived a change, the bottom line is that yahoo and the sites around you are constantly changing. Its the very nature of the internet.

Quite a few people seem to be competing actively for the term including orlandovillas.com

It is unfortunately the nature of the beast.....my suggestion would be to continue building more sites...ie. perhaps a site that focuses on Kissimee (unique of course), because if you begin to focus on the vagueries of these search engines it will drive you up a wall. 'Build, build, build, see what sticks, build some more.'

Maybe it's just a fluctuation or something... Just continue building links and optimizing your links for that certain keywords...
