Delicious Integrated Into Yahoo SERPs

Today I’ve noticed that Yahoo added a delicious icon next to the search results. They display (hyperlink) the number of bookmarks the particular domain has.
I wonder if the number of delicious bookmarks has any influence on Yahoo! rankings? Did anybody notice a correlation between Yahoo! rankings and delicious? Reminder that Yahoo bought delicious 3 years ago ..

Very interesting post ... thanks for pointing that out. Social bookmarking is becoming more and more important and I for one, believe it does (or will) have an influence on SERPs as all SEs move toward personalization. So, "votes" from other websites will share their power with votes from visitors. Excellent!

Hmmm. I didn't get delicious results. Could this be a plugin you have installed on FireFox?

Is this not stumble upon results rather than delicious? I'm pretty sure you get them when you have the stumble upon tool bar installed and they also show up in google serps.

No, it has nothing to do with SU tool bar. The Yahoo! tests with delicious is commented today on several blogs Yahoo Tests Delicious Integration In Search Results

I just noticed the SU icon, didn't spot the delicious one below the results.

I think this is a good move for Yahoo. They bought Delicious a couple of years back and integrating a "human" component in the SERPs can only help relevancy as long as they are fighting SPAM hard in Delicious.
