Default Problem with my meta description in yahoo
Hi!
For some reason yahoo doesn't display my description meta tag.
What could be the problem?

What is it displaying instead? If it's using the DMOZ description, use the NO-ODP tag.

Are you in the yahoo directory? If so, is it displaying the description from there?

If it's showing the Yahoo Directory description, the following meta tag should fix that:-

Quote:
<meta name="robots" content="noydir" />
However, there were some bugs a couple of months back where this stopped working, but I believe it's sorted now.

Did you already check SiteReportCard: Web Site Optimization and Promotion Tools? Never mind I just checked and it looks good there.
