Default yahoo indexing

After my virgin voyage into the google forum, I thought I'd ask about yahoo as well.

I understand google much better, so I apologize if this is basic stuff.

My site is fully indexed with google while both yahoo and msn are only returning the home page (and I think the news feed page).

I've used Google Sitemaps so I suppose that makes sense that it would be fully indexed. Is it just a matter of time for yahoo and msn to index the whole site or is there something I could be doing to move the process along?

Part of the issue may be related to the number of inbound links. The more links you have, the faster your site gets indexed. Google loves new content, so you will usually get picked up quickly there, but other engines take longer to reach a site and fully index it. You might also want to create a robots.txt file and include a link to your sitemap file within, to ensure all the search engines find it.

Yes, I am. That's how I figured out only two pages are indexed. For now, I'm just being patient, but if there is something I can do to speed yahoo up, I might as well take advantage.

You'll just have to remain patient, there isn't much you can do.
