My version of the Yahoo SERPs is showing a truncated number of 52 characters including spaces. Is this now the common format for displaying the title tag?
There has been previous debates on the optimum number of characters in the title tag. If Yahoo has lowered the limit then this is another factor.

Hi dburdon. I checked my Yahoo SERPs, and they are going all the way to 117 characters, including spaces. Check out the SERPs for search-for-servers.com (my website), and let me know what you get. I tried the UK version of Yahoo as well (seeing as you are in England and I'm in the US), and it worked the same: 117 characters with spaces. I've noticed on some pages though, it does get cut down to only about thirty (I forget which keywords, but will see if I can get it to do it again and let you know what they are). Yahoo has had a lot of issues for me lately.
