We all know that sometimes with the technology we have now, some face to face communication can be lost. But, I definitely use it to my advantage when it comes to family and friends. I have family in Utah and Florida (I live in KY) and email is usually the only way we stay in touch since phone bills would be too high. We are of course able to send pictures that we normally wouldn't be able to see until the holidays. Also, most of my friends live in other cities than I do so instant messaging is usually the way we get ahold of each other. Just thought I would share my opinion that I also think technology is a way to pull people together.
