Social Bookmarking - making a difference in the rankings?

Was wondering if anyone had any views yet about the success of Yahoo!s integration of del.icio.us?

I am also interested to see if anyone has observed sites that have been frequently tagged moving up the search rankings?

With growth of mySpace, hard launch of live.com and Google's 4.0 Toolbar update incorporating "portable bookmarks", I am surprised there is not more discussion about social bookmarking on the forum.

We've been playing at using Furl and the like. We've seen interesting results. It's relatively easy to get a n inbound link on a reasonably high PR page. However, keeping a link on a high PR page is another matter as the resukts tend to shuffle.

I must admit I'm dubious as to how long social bookmarking sites will have relevance though as fundamentally its lists of lists of lists
