Default Inside Pages

Hi, Sorry if this has been asked before but I recently revamped my website and in Yahoo I noticed that in their new crawl they did find and index my inside pages but they do not yet come up in any searches. Is this a sign of a banning or is it just that I have to wait a bit longer? Not sure what it indicates when the only rankings you have are the index..

The inside pages listed do have descriptions etc in Yahoo and only come forth when you search the domain name? Thanks for any guidance

You have to do searches for several key words to determine how well you rank. It's been my experience that Yahoo spiders my site in a couple of days and I either rank well or I don't. If I don't the only option is to review the changes I can make to make the page(s) rank better. I have several large sites and individual pages on the inside rank better for certain key words. In fact my index page is seldom the entry point to any of my sites.

While they could visit your site, it may take some time for them to update the results through their server. You'll also need to track the keywords which your listed under and see how they move up and down.

Yahoo will take longer than most search engines for your website changes to show up in the SERPs. Did you tell the spiders that your old URLs have changed and point them to the new URLs with 301 redirects?

i think even the inner pages too may need incoming links to start showing up on SERPs for the keywords on those pages.
usually the index page will have more incoming links than inner pages. so it appears more than other pages in SERPs.
