Default favored by google over yahoo

We are currently redesigning our site: http://www.new-hope-recovery.com. We posted it for review in the site design section: http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic...=312813#312813.

We hope to improve the look of the site & also change whatever keeps us out of yahoo. (keyword stuffing??)

Only thing is that we don't want anything to impact our fantastic google results (kw = drug rehab chicago).

The experts I have asked have never heard of a site being favored by google & banned in yahoo.

Have you?

I have. It seems most sites do well in one or the other but not both. Although I do know of sites that do well in both so definitely make it a goal of yours.

One word of warning: major redesigns often result in drops in rankings temporarily and occasionally permanently. You may find making incremental changes in your design might be wise if you are ranking well for a search term and do not want to do it.

We are hoping to keep most major elements in the site & simply change the layout to make it more professional.
