8 ways into Yahoo, really?

I happened upon a article from 8 Ways to Submit Your Site to Yahoo from Wendy Boswell at About.com,

Now to be honest usually writing from Wendy is very basic in SEO strategies and rightfully so. I would think most of those reading About.com commentary are probably on the "less-than technical" side.

Of course she missed the obvious one. Make sure your website is linked from a website already indexed and being crawled by Yahoo/Slurp! Of course you just need a couple 1000 more of those and you will be doing great in the SERP's!

If I am not mistaken

and

* Yahoo standard submission

are one in the same.

SEMA just qouting what she had on the article. I think she means:

"free site submission" is for RSS

and

"Yahoo standard submission" is the Yahoo submit URL page.
