Legitimate Ban from yahoo? I don`t think so

My site was recently banned from yahoo - They do not provide a reason and I have reviewed the link and list they sent me which I "may" have violated.

- Cloaking (showing crawlers deceptive content about)
- Massive domain interlinking
- Use of affiliate programs without original content
- Use of reciprocal link programs (aka "link farms")
- Hidden text
- Excessive keyword repetition

I dont think I violate any of these although I am not clear on the definition of Massive Domain Interlinking.

My site is a directory that uses an almost identicle structure as yahoo does. And I do link back to my own domain alot but only for cities within the state you are in - it is a "local" type directory that listes designers in every state.

If anyone can tell me as to where I am in violation, or why I was banned from Yahoo it would be much appreciated.

You have the #n site reported deindexed by Y this month. Looks like a campaign or something. I'll have to take a deep look tomorrow.

I show 90,000+ backlinks - everyone from a design related website or directory - no BS links from link farms or doorway pages etc.

Yahoo seems to be doing a lot of de-indexing of sites right now. I suggest going over their list of guidlines at the link in that email message they sent you. If you see that your site isn't doing any of that then submit it for re-evaluation.

We're in the same boat right now. Site practices in nothing that could be considered spam, and we're seeing the exact same thing as you.

Our site is still fully indexed in Yahoo, but it no longer ranks for anything. Is your site still in the index, or is it completely gone?

What makes matters even more frustrating, is that Yahoo's results are now cluttered with a bunch of garbage listings.

Really, really, sucks in Yahoo right now.
