Default How can I improve my ranking with Yahoo?

Hi all:
My online store has been up for a month and yahoo has index me and all the links coming in. Right now I'm #46 for the keyword that I am targeting "Chandelier Earrings". Can someone give me some advice as to what I have to do to improve my rankings with Yahoo?

thanks...

Default need your url

When you ask for advice you will only get help if you post your url. People cannot give you answers if they cannot see your site and your coding.

Do that, and you will probably get some good advice.

If you're talking about the site in you signature
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=site%3Aearringsetc.com
Yahoo has only your index page in their index. Sometimes they are uneasy with indexing new sites (I hope this problem is solved soon). You have to be patient and provide some more links with "Chandelier Earrings" as an anchor text.

thank you and sorry I forgot about writing my full URL. The URL I am talking about is http://www.earringsetc.com and I launched this site about a month and a half ago. I appreciate any feedback and advice given.

Default Damn you yahoo!

soooo... I have been following the advice given here and just checked site:earringsetc.com on yahoo and saw that yahoo has 13 pages of my site indexed but when I check for my ranking, I dont show up under "chandelier earrings" but im #5 under "handmade chandelier earrings". Given that "Chandelier earrings" get more searches than "handmade chandelier earrings", should I change my meta title to "chandelier earrings"???

thanks for any help guys... I really appreciate the help given here.

As 301 advises be patient and provide some more links.

Try to use your keyword in your anchor text, when you get alink to your site.
Also remember don't expetct get high ranking in a month time of any NEW site with competitive keyword.

BE PATIENT with HARD WORK :)

don't worry overly much about the META tags. include them in the TITLE tags and prominently in the body though.
