Default Yes

Yes. We've been discussing this here already. Mostly an index update lately, not an algo update. That happened a while back.

Brian.

Default Beg to differ

I beg to differ Brian.

I've seen some pretty significant changes in rankings over the past few days that can't be explained by a simple index update.

We made changes to the index last night so you should be seeing more of your pages in the index as well as some fluctuations in the rankings of results from previous searches. The changes will be a little more intense than the second weather report and changes will continue over the next week or two.

Large indexing changes can make a huge difference, especially as the indexes are still synchronizing. That can take some time (the files are plenty large.)
