Default Yahoo removed my site because I wouldn't buy!!

I am placing this again. Yesterday I think I put it in the wrong area so apologies if this is the second time you have seen it. Obviously it was in the wrong place. sorry. Here is my posting again.
My web site was runing 1 and 2 on Yahoo until recently.
A sales rep in Australia called me to try and sell me
on paid submission to Yahoo. I declined as I cannot afford it as well as the consensus seems to be it is not necessary to pay. He quoted $750Au. My site got where it was through free submissions. A few days later I decided to see where my site in Yahoo was and it is gone!
I went to the free submission area to submit URL and did a check for my site which it suggests one does before submitting and surprise surprise no record of my site!! Isn't that almost criminal?? It will be Google for me from now on and I hope for many more as well. Any one else had similar experience?

Maybe the two are not related. It would help if you posted the URL and we could see if anything might have got you banned from Yahoo.

No I certainly don't think so. I am still 1 and 2 in google and i was the same in Yahoo for ages prior to the contact by the sales guy.

I think you confused.

Was the check you need to make before submitting a URL for the Yahoo Directory or the Yahoo search index.

Are you sure that it was Yahoo that called you or someone pretending to sel their service - they do not have paid submission for the search index (they have a version of paid inclusion via others). The also have paid inclusion for the Directory.

Your site would have got no where through free submissions to Yahoo, as that does not have anything to do with rankings in yahoo.

Whats the URL?

That was no Yahoo sales rep man, that was just some SEO who bought your name. You must have another issue that got your site removed. Did the guy know your url? He may have reported you if he knew you were using any techiques that were devious. Were you? WHAT IS THE URL?
