Default Why is this happening

I have been noticing that Yahoo!'s search is always changing. The only reason I have noticed this was because one of my URL's has jumped to #1 "verizon cell phones" then it jumps to number 12 or 10. I am not complaining #1 for a few days is great, But today I noticed i was number 1 then I looked a hour later and i was 12. My site changed every hour, when i was able to check.

So I was thinking, was I being forced down the latter. So I added some more text with keywords and some alt text on my pics. I havent seen my url move and i dont know what else to do. Should i leave it alone?

Hi, a-1cellphones,

Just relax and keep on coding according to W3C standards. You are already doing pretty good at #1 and #12. I would imagine the competion is pretty heavy for "verizon cell phones".

Perhaps an email to Yahoo's software engineering department can clear up why you keep jumping between #1 and #12.

Best.

This fluctuation may be new indexing or new inclusion sites being placed into the index.

Yahoo is doing alot of work on their search engine right now. It will probably be on going for a while.
