Default Did yahoo revert backdate its information?

Hi all,

Just like to check whether anybody has experienced changes in yahoo search results.

We recently finished our entire site makeover and over the past 2 weeks, yahoo has been displaying our new site information.

About 2 days back, we realised that yahoo has reverted to displaying results from our "previous" website.

Anything funny going on?

Regds,
Pat

Yahoo has been good and terrible to my sites. Some rank extremely well and some rank poor. I have noticed a site that lost its good ranking in Yahoo for a while, and then magically started ranking well again a few days ago.

I would not put it by them reverting back to an older state.

Maybe they had a new algo that didn't work the way they wanted it to.

Yahoo released a new index over the weekend, but it may not have propagated throughout the entire Yahoo system. FWIW, we are seeing alot of ups and downs on Yahoo with our new sites over the past few days, whereas the older sites are very stable in their SERP's.

Yes, the changes are because of yahoo's new search index...

I personally feel that yahoo's new search index is exactly same as the index before previous one...

Their previous update was good but now in this current one I see some spam..my sites have been kicked from #5 to 26...

and like jestep said, some sites are listed well also but overall it was a bad update for me...
