Hi,
My new site (2 months old) has been on Yahoo! frontpage for a while with ranking moving from 1-4 position for my chosen keyword. Yesterday, suddenly it drop to 102 position, and when I check their cache, they show me an older version of my site. Can somebody tell me what happen to my site? Thanks. Sjarief |

It's happening again, after recover to 1st page position in Yahoo and the cache back to current, suddenly yahoo drop the current cache and replace it again with older cache and my position removed again from 1st page position.
Although yahoo crawled my site everyday, it hasn't update it's cache of my site. It seem much faster for Yahoo to index new site rather than updating it's index. Is there a way to remove my site from yahoo index/cache? I'm hoping yahoo will index my sites faster if there is no older cache/index in their database. If it is posible, is it a good thing todo? Regards, Sjarief |

You can set your meta tags to no cache and they engines should not cache an image of your site. It sounds like your site is doing the old yoyo that we go through. I think that all the SEs run various versions of their databases. I think there is a main version that comes down for service and then will come back up in a few days. I wouldnt worry about it . I am sure your site will bounce right back within a week.
