Hello
I did a search on yahoo from 2 different computers(both are running XP) using the same search term but getting 2 different rankings and 2 different pages. one ranking is #35 the other is #40. the #35 is the index page. any thoughts Whothought

My issue was similar in that Yahoo was toggling the results between my directory listing and my spidered listing. Two different urls, happening on several computers... in the same rank though. That was happening at #6 and then we had yet another url in the #23 spot.
I was told that this was a pretty common occurence, but I've only noticed it in the past 2-3 months. We're trying to robots.txt our way out of it and 301 redirect anything else outside of our root url and see what happens. I'd love to hear any other suggestions though. Bernadette~ |
