Yahoo & Overture = Confused

I hope somebody can explain this?? If Overture is a Yahoo company surely the results would be the same or at least fairly similar, or am I being naive!!

my site www.microkleen.co.uk is number 1 for Property for sale Portugal on yahoo.com but not in the first page on overture.

I am fairly new to this so am sure I am missing the point here!

The engine at overture just displays the paid advertisers, it doesn't show organic results. If you aren't bidding on the key phrase "Property for sale Portugal" (or something similar) through Ov, you won't show up on overture.com.

Yahoo shows some paid listings at the top, along the right, and at the bottom with the organic listings sandwiched in the middle.

Thanks, that makes sense as most of them where sponsored listings.
