Good News for Yahoo! Stores

Yahoo! Stores now can set up 301 Permanent Redirects to their main domain name url, which should help with rankings and problems. You should see the following message in your Store Manager:

We recently introduced features that provide more control over customer interaction with your store. The Page Not Found Error Handling feature allows you to create and serve custom 404 error pages. The Yahoo! Domain Redirect feature enables you to redirect traffic permanently from Yahoo! Store URLs to your preferred domain.

yes, it's a good thing that's about 5 years to late... can't wait to see the traffic reports after the switches are made... hosting sites and calling them their own gave them a very slanted count...

Dont forget tht 404 improvement; which is equally as important. A smart coder could get around the multiple domain name issue pretty simply before, but the 404 improvement as a great move too.
