Default Getting my site into Yahoo!

Mys ite has been ranked on Google from pretty much the same week i submitted to their search engine. Im ranking top 3 or top 10 for many of my chosen search terms and brining in 400 hits a day via Google.

However I can not for the life of me get an inclusion in Yahoo's search engine. I submitted back in March and again in August but ive yet to be picked up by them.

I am also struggling to get picked up in DMOZ as my site category is un-moderated and a "spam magnet" (as advised when my application to edit the category was rejected) im not gonna get in their anytime soon either.

Im sure Yahoo! could send a lot of traffic my way, but its frustrating not being able to even get in the search engine.

Anybody have any advice?

Be patient, get good backlinks and the engines will find you,
but you were lucky to be picked up by Google so quickly,

you can use dmoz forums to find out how submission is going and it also gives them a kickup the backside, it worked for my site. or you could try going into a regional catagory at top level, very often an overall editor will choose an appropriate catagory quickly and put u in it. but nothing is every garanted with dmoz.
